In January to April 2006 the public budget incomes comprised 1078.6m manats, or 82.0% more than last year. The public budget expenses rose 65.3% and made up 910.6m manats.
The surplus of the public budget comprised 168.0m manats.
In January to April 2006 the Ministry of Taxes remitted 761.5m manats to the public budget against the forecast of 649.6m manats, execution the forecast 117.2%. As of preliminary data, the State Customs Committee remitted 164.54m manats in taxes and duties to the public budget against the forecast of 162.32m manats. It the 2005 figure by 57.25m manats, or 53.36%.
As compared to 2005 the expenses for industry and construction sector rose 4.4 times, defense 2.3 times, agriculture 74.2%, health 43.9%, economic activities 43.7%, communal economy РЅР° 42.6%, culture 35%, education 27%.
213m manats has been spent on state investment expenses, or 1.6 times more than the similar period of 2005. 17.5m manats was spent on the construction and rehabilitation of social, culture and catering facilities, 104m manats on construction of module power stations, 29.5m manats rehabilitation of irrigation-drainage infrastructure and drinkable water supply of regions, 25.5m manats construction of automobile roads of republican significance.
