Representatives of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are attending the training currently being held in the Romanian port of Kestanja, an official of the Defense Ministry, Ilgar Verdiyev, told Trend.
Along with Azerbaijan other NATO permanent members, representatives of the armed forces of Bulgaria, UK, Italy, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Albania, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Georgia, Croatia and Qatar are also participating in the military exercises Cooperative MAKO -2006, held within the framework of the NATOs Partnership for Peace Program.
The event is to complete on 30 June.
