I do not see any need in inviting the Head of the Defense Office to the Parliament during the discussion of the military legislation of the country. Ziyafat Asgarov, the first Vice-Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) told today, Trend reports.

The representatives of the Defense Ministry are participating and answering all necessary questions during discussing these issues at the Parliament. Therefore, there is no need in the attendance of the Defense minister, pointed out the Voce-Speaker.

According to him, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly is expected to be held in Canada on October 15-17. After that we expect the visit of the representatives of a NATO Committee to discuss the situation over South Caucasus. A rapporteur on this issue has already been determined, told Mr. Asgarov.
