Vagit Alekperov, the President of Russian oil company LUKOIL, discussed, on 6 October in Baku with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the company's participation in the retail network of trading of oil products, Tend reports.
Alekperov stated at a news conference in Baku that under the project it is planned to increase the number of petrol filling station in Azerbaijan from 21 to 30. It is planned to invest $15mln. on the project, Alekperov stated.
However, the LUKOIL President said that his company's plans are still insufficient to realize the project. There should be other parties interested in selling their assets and the question on allocation of plots must be resolved, he stressed.
