Azerbaijan National Independence Party Not to Join Opposition Forthcoming Protest Action

Ayyaz Rustamov, the Chairman of the Party of National Independence of Azerbaijan, informed Trend that the Party he heads will not take part in any arrangements of the opposition parties, which claims that they are keen to organize actions of protest.

He said that as a sign of protest against the recent advance in prices, the opposition would hold protest actions, however nobody had addressed the National Independence Party due to the opposition forthcoming massive protest actions. Therefore, the Party will not join the forthcoming actions to be held by the opposition. However, if there are some addresses or requests, then they will be considered by the leadership of the Party.

Opposition parties вЂ" Musavat, and bloc Azadlig have put forward the issue on holding joint protest actions to the agenda. Isa Gambar, the Chairman of Musavat Party, said that he had already launched negotiations with other opposition parties on this issue.
