Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Agayeva / On 26 April the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the ex-President of Romania and also Chairman of Social-Democratic Party, Ion Iliesku. The State Head of Azerbaijan expressed his satisfaction with the visit of Iliesku to Azerbaijan to attend the conference 'Role of media in developing tolerance and mutual understanding'.
Iliesku attached a great importance to the conduct of the international conference in Baku. The sides highlighted the successful development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Romania.
