Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / On 22 June, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates Daniel Yergin and his accompanying delegation. The Head of State recalled his meeting with Yergin in Davos earlier this year. The President said economic, political, and other fields in Azerbaijan have rapidly developed over recent years, noting this visit will provide an opportunity to learn more about Azerbaijan. Yergin said it is his first trip to Azerbaijan. According to him, the role of Azerbaijan is increasing in the world. He also shared his impressions on his visiting Sangachal terminal, the starting point of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.
