According to Investigator Bahruz Mammadov , Elshad Khose, an Azerbaijani rapper is now under the house-arrest due to a change in his court verdict.
Yasamal District's court of Baku changed its sentence of imprisonment for Elshad Khose with the house-arrest after a petition was raised by his defender, Saleh Aliyev.
The investigator said that the examination revealed Khose's addiction to drugs. But due to the absence of any signs of intoxication, Khose does not need prudential treatment.
Several days ago Elchin Behbudov, the chairman of the Azerbaijani Anti-Torture Committee accepted the Azerbaijani Interior Minister's demand on replacing Khose from imprisonment to be under house arrest.
A criminal case was filed after Khose was arrested while carrying heroin.
He is charged with contravening Article 234.1 (illegal purchase or storage of drugs or psychotropic substances in the amount exceeding the norm) of the Criminal law.
Earlier he was sentenced to be imprisoned for two months.
