( CM ) - MICHAEL JACKSON has released a video message to fans to mark the 25th anniversary of his THRILLER album. In the tape, the pop superstar reveals his plans to record new material, claiming his "passion for music has never stopped". He says, "It's hard to believe that 25 years ago (producer) Quincy Jones and I embarked on an album named Thriller. "There is still much more to come for Michael Jackson. My passion for music has never stopped. It's my hope that Thriller continues to live on for each new generation to discover." A special edition of the album was released in the U.S. on Tuesday (12Feb08) to mark the anniversary.
