Projects to be Prepared to Restore Mosques in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 7 April / Trend corr. A.Gafarov / Projects were developed to reconstruct cultural and historic monuments in the villages and regions of Azerbaijan, Abulfaz Garayev, Minister of Culture and Tourism, stated during the opening ceremony of the reconstructed Mosque in the Rustov village in Guba region of Azerbaijan.

The Mosque in Rustov village was built in 1902. In 1920, the Mosque was used as a storehouse and sacred worship was restored in 1980. Azerinshaat also had repair work done to their Mosque.

Garayev stated that a new projects has been developed to restore the Mosques in the country.

Guba region is located 170km north of Baku.
