Antonios Nikopolidis will end his career as
Greece goalkeeper after the final Euro 2008 group match with Spain on Wednesday.
Nikopolidis, 37, said on Sunday he made this decision ahead of Saturday's match
with Russia - in which his blunder gave Russia a 1-0 victory and sent his
title-holding team packing.
"I reached this decision a long time ago," he said at the team's Euro
camp in Austria, dpa reported.
