Azerbaijani group team on gymnastics gets bronze of international tournament

Azerbaijani group team on rhythmic gymnastics got bronze in Baltic Cup international tournament held in Poland.

Team consisting of Vafa Huseynova, Valeria Yegay, Anatasiya Prasolova, Dina Gorina, Jeyla Guliyeva and Nigar Mirzoyeva ranked the third place in final performing exercises with three ribbons and two ropes.

"Our gymnasts yield to Russian and Polish gymnasts," press-service of the Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation told Trend .

Our team performed accurate and could leave behind Israeli gymnasts in mixed exercise, head coach of our team Mariana Vasilyeva said. "Both judges and spectators like our compositions as they jolly. Bit our gymnasts do not fulfill all elements well. We as trainers will remove these defects. I planned to organize one and a half month-trainings in Sofia in famous club Levski and continue trainings in Mladost hall of Black Sea resort Burgas before World Championship to be held in Japan in September. Our team will perform in Amsterdam's tournament and Minsk's World Cup before and after trainings," head coach said. 

Samira Mustafayeva participating in Poland in individual tournament performed in two finals of competitions. She performed her best result in exercise with a ball and ranked the fifth place. She ranked the eights place in exercise with rope. Samira ranked the sixth place as a result of exercises. Two Russian gymnasts Darya Yermakova and Yana Lukonina, as well as Polish gymnast Ioanna Mitrosh ranked prize places.
