Chief coach of the Swiss Basel Football Club expressed hope that his team will win in the first match of play-off stage of League of Europe.
"We respect the opponent. But at the same time, we believe in our players. We do not think about defeat, hope to win or draw," the chief coach of Basel Torsten Finck said to press conference in Baku.
On August 20, within the play-off of League of Europe, Azerbaijani Baki Club will match with the Swiss Basel. The match will begin at 20:00 Baku time.
"After casting of lots, firstly I started looking for Baku on the map. Here we were met warmly, and in turn, we will also warmly welcome Baki," said Finck.
According to him, his team well knows Baki.
"This team knows how to play football, and is not satisfied with only hitting the ball forward. We held video analysis of the game of opponent. I would properly mention the halfback of Baki," said the chief coach o Basel.
