Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office voiced its position in connection to the Chief of Department on Combating Cybercrime and Human Trafficking of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Yuri Kucher's statement.
According to a statement from the Prosecutor General's office, the public had been informed "about the launch of criminal investigation into the act of the committing the illegal operations of transplantation of human organs towards leadership of the medical center, operating under the Azerbaijani International University", with an announcement regarding the "creation of a joint operational-investigative group consisting of employees of the Republican Prosecutor's Office and Interior Ministry" also made.
At the moment, the Investigation department for Serious Crimes of the Prosecutor General's Office continues to carry out the necessary operational investigative measures to investigate all the facts of the case, including the prosecution of other persons involved in the crime.
