Azerbaijan-Caspian studies center to be established at leading European university

A Center for Azerbaijan-Caspian Studies will be established at one of the oldest universities in Europe - Charles University, founded by King Charles IV in 1348.

The agreement on this was signed between the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the Charles University, the Embassy told Trend.
In addition to research activities and publication of research papers, there are plans to hold conferences, roundtables and other events related to Azerbaijan and the countries of the Caspian basin as part of the center.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Czech Republic Tahir Taghizadeh met with the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Associate Professor Michal Stehlik, Director of the Institute for Middle Eastern and African Studies, Professor Edward Gombarom and Ph.D. Eltay Dilbazi.
