Development of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Romania is very important, as intercultural dialogue also contributes to the development of cooperation in other spheres, Romanian Culture Minister Hunor Kelemen told journalists in Baku.

Development of cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Romania is very important, as intercultural dialogue also contributes to the development of cooperation in other spheres, Romanian Culture Minister Hunor Kelemen told journalists in Baku.

Kelemen congratulated Azerbaijan on its victory at the Eurovision Song Contest.
"Eurovision is a good chance for each country to show itself. Next year, Romania will also actively participate at this song contest", he said.

Kelemen stressed that in recent years, the Romanian tourists actively visit the Caucasian countries, and he believes that their number will grow every year.
Romanian Culture and National Heritage Minister Hunor Kelemen's visit to Azerbaijan will last from July 28 until the end of the month.

Kelemen will meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Abulfaz Garayev and discuss the prospects of cultural cooperation between the two countries, including joint projects in this sphere.

This morning, Kelemen visited the Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs.
