The drones manufactured in Azerbaijan meet NATO standards, Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry official Vali Fataliyev told Trend today.
Azerbaijan manufactures drones and uses for peaceful purposes such as to carry out exploration work and aerial photography, he said.
Since the establishment of the defense industry ministry, the production capacity at its plants has tripled, Fataliyev said.
Today the ministry's plants produce defense and civil products, including equipment for the aviation industry, shipbuilding, electrical engineering and petroleum engineering.
