Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have discussed creating a network uniting the bodies of the state services of the CIS countries.

Chairman of the Public Service Commission under the Azerbaijani President Bahram Khalilov on Wednesday met with Kazakh Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov.

The parties have discussed a regional hub created by the CIS countries (a network uniting the bodies of state services of the CIS countries) to exchange knowledge of and experience with state service, the State Service Commission said today.

Khalilov said that the committee is interested in establishing a regional hub, and said that the regional hub will have a positive impact on exchanging experience between civil servants and conducting various international events.

The main objective of establishing a regional hub in the public service is to form an institutional network, assuming the constant exchange of knowledge and experience between regional countries.

The issue of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Commission and the Kazakh Agency for Civil Service Affairs was discussed at the meeting.
