On May 25, Startup Days jointly organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, UNEC and the Startup Azerbaijan Organization will be launched.
The Startup Days will be realized with the support of the High Technology Park and the State Fund for Information Technology Development under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies.
The goal of holding the Startup Days is to promote the creation of new startups and stimulate the development of online business. At the same time, it is one of the priorities of the project to develop national startup infrastructure and provide the students with methodological support in this direction.
The Startup Days, which will last for two days, will enable UNEC students to meet with the local startup owners, well-known experts and managers of the influential IT companies. The students will be trained on presenting the startups, drafting the original versions and prototypes.
The Startup Days will also host the competition of business ideas of students and the initial versions of the new internet projects. The students will form teams around the innovative business ideas and will develop the initial versions of new startup projects with the support of mentors and experts. At the end, the professional jury will evaluate the ideas of students participating in the competition by presenting their projects.
The winners will receive the valuable prizes, diplomas and certificates.
