The British Council, in close partnership with the ADA University in Azerbaijan, is organising a Creative Spark programme student forum on 1 December 2021, at 13.30 (Baku time) dedicated to developing entrepreneurial skills among students and young graduates of the universities in Azerbaijan.

The forum brings together student participants from the ADA University, as well as the business leaders and entrepreneurs representing organisations such as ATL Group, SABAH.lab, MESHQUE, and ABA Centre. The speakers’ panel will also include experts from the British Council, two student entrepreneurs from the ADA University, as well as the 2021 Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge country champion and a student from the Khazar University, Taravat Asgarova. Together, they will share ideas about enterprise education, student action, and skills that lead to successful entrepreneurship.

The forum will be broadcast live from ADA University on the British Council’s facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/4433852493394226/

Delivery of enterprise skills packages to students, graduates and creative entrepreneurs is an integral part of our five-year Creative Spark initiative in South Caucasus, Central Asia and Ukraine.

The programme is delivered through seven international partnerships involving 16 universities and creative institutions in Azerbaijan and the UK. In addition to directly funding the partnerships, the UK is offering students in Azerbaijan various opportunities and professional development courses on topics ranging from pitching ideas and starting a business, to protecting intellectual property and securing financial support.
