An Azerbaijani youth team of unarmed self-defense sportsmen, will participate in the European championship due to start in Solonniki on Thursday, Trend reports.
The team includes Ilgar Mammadov (56kg), Jasaret Allahverdiyev (60kg), Afgan Abdullayev (48kg), Elchin Ramazanov (65kg), Ibrahim Guliyev (75kg), Habib Aliyev (78kg), Ali Ismayilov (57kg), Amil Gasimov (62kg), Islam Gasimov (52kg), Zabil Farhadov (68kgРі), Asif Jafabeyov (82kg) and Vasif Jafabayov (100kg), who will rival for awards.
Mubariz Ibrahimov, a coach of the team, said that the athletes could win awards almost in all categories, while their major rivals promise to be the athletes from Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and Belorus.
