MP Azay Guliyev, a Member of the Amnesty Committee, told journalists that no amnesty decree is expected to be signed soon, Trend reports.
He said that the Pardon Decree had been signed by the President of the Country recently. However, if the number of appeals for pardon will increase, the Committee, as usual, will view this issue and take a corresponding decision, he said.
Touching upon the issue on holding the meeting of the Pardon Committee, Mr. Guliyev said that he had no exact information about that.
Human rights activists have recently claimed that the pardon decree is expected to be signed till the end of the year.
