Azerbaijani Businessmen in Russia Hire Russian Sellers to Avoid New Rules

Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr S. Ilhamghizi / Ilgar Hajiyev, the chairman of Moscow branch of the Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis and the director of the headquarters for legal assistance to Azerbaijanis, reported that the Azerbaijanis residing in Moscow applied with complaints due to the rule on suspension of trade by foreign persons issued on April 1st. Hajiyev stated that no complaints indicating serious problems had been received during last three days.

According to Hajiyev, the Azerbaijanis engaged in trade in Moscow have set up small-scale enterprises and hire Russians as sellers in order to avoid the new rules.

Due to the Bill on Migrants, the prices at the markets have rose. The fact causes discontent of the local population.
