(femalefirst.co.uk) - Sandra Bullock doesn't worry about making money from her movies anymore - because she is so rich.
The 42-year-old actress admits she is lucky enough to have made enough cash to retire, and is now able to take on the roles she wants rather than having to appear in films to pick up a paycheque.
She said: "I'm now in a position where I can choose the roles I want to do rather than ones that I think will make money.
"I know I'm very lucky to be in this position and, as long as I have people around me to tell me I'm not about to go broke, I'm happy to do any movie that barely breaks even."
Bullock has starred in a host of box office hits, including 'Speed', 'The Net', 'Miss Congeniality' and 'Crash'.
Meanwhile, Bullock has confessed she loves being a stepmother.
The 'Premonition' actress' husband Jesse James has three children from his previous marriages, and the brunette insists she loves them just as much as if they were her own offspring. She said: "My love and my hopes for their future and their happiness, for their homework to be done and for them to know how smart and beautiful they are is no less than if they were my own biological children.
"I have my family, and it's the family that some higher power put in my path. I feel really lucky."
Jesse and Sandra live together in California just minutes away from his first wife Karla and their children Chandler, 12, and nine-year-old Jesse Jr. The motorcycle tycoon's second wife Janine also lives close-by with his three-year-old daughter Sunny.
