Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. Z.Safarov / The Volleyball Grand Prix, with participation of the Azerbaijani national team, will be held as a new form at the Ankara games on 3 September.
Initially eight teams were divided into four groups, but later organizers of the games made the decision to hold a round-robin tournament instead. Such a decision was made due to the double champions of Europe from when Poland gained admission to the World Grand Prix. Azerbaijani players will compete against Italy, Turkey, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Germany.
