(popmatters.com) - Legendary 'Rolling Stones' guitarist Keith Richards is said-to-be demanding an apology from Swedish music critics who gave the Stones some rather unflattering concert reviews. The Swedish music critics expressed their dislike for the concert, and even suggested tjat Richards was drunk whilst on stage. They said he Richards seemed "a bit confused" and gave the concert a 2/5.
Keith Richards reportedly became very angry after reading the reviews, and has demanded that the critics apologize for them. He wrote a letter (that was then published,) saying, "This is a first! Never before have I risen to the bait of a bad review. But this time...I have to stand up... for our fans all over Sweden...to say that you owe them, and us, and apology."
"There were 56,000 people in Ullevi stadium who bought a ticket to our concert - and experienced a completely different show than the one you 'reviewed,'" he added.
"I am not going to apologize for my subjective opinion," said one of the critics. "It is Keith who should apologize. After all it costs around 1,000 kronor to see a rock star who can hardly handle the (guitar) riff to 'Brown Sugar' any more."
