Investments in the oil and gas sector in Azerbaijan in 2022 will reach 7.189 billion manats ($4.2 billion), Trend reports referring to the draft state budget of Azerbaijan for next year.
According to the document, investments in the country's oil and gas sector in 2023 will amount to 7.012 billion manats ($4.1 billion), 6.312 billion manats ($3.7 billion) - in 2024 and 5.656 billion manats ($3.3 billion) in 2025, respectively.
It is noted that in Azerbaijan’s 10M2021 investments in fixed assets amounted to 10.56 billion manats ($6.2 billion), which is 11.5 percent less than the same period last year.
At the same time, 7.02 billion manats ($4.1 billion), or 66.4 percent of funds allocated to fixed assets, accounted for domestic funds.
It is reported that investments in the oil and gas and non-oil sectors decreased by 9.2 and 13.1 percent, respectively, compared to 10M2020.
In the total amount of funds allocated to fixed capital, funds of enterprises and organizations amounted to 55.1 percent, budget funds - 24.1 percent, other funds - 7.4 percent, personal funds of the population - 7.3 percent, bank loans - 6.1 percent.
