The payments of the Azerbaijani Ateshgah Life insurance company decreased twofold in 2021 compared to 2020 up to 31.5 million manat ($18.5 million), the Azerbaijan Insurers Association told Trend .
Ateshgah Life's insurance fees increased by 5.5 percent or 2.3 million manat ($1.3 million) in 2021 compared to 2020 to 44 million manat ($25.9 million).
The share of Ateshgah Life in insurance fees in the Azerbaijani market was 5.21 percent, while the share of payments was 6.86 percent in 2021.
The total fees of Azerbaijani insurance companies amounted to 843.9 million manat $496.4 million (increase of 15.8 percent for the year) while total payments - 458.7 million manat $269.8 million (decrease of 1.4 percent) in 2021.
