BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. The value of cement and glass exports from Türkiye to Iran increased from January through August 2022, Turkish Trade Ministry told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $13.8 million, up by 29.9 percent on annual basis.
Türkiye exported cement and glass in the amount of $1.6 million to Iran in August this year, which is 25.3 percent more than in the same month of 2021, the ministry said.
The total value of cement and glass exports from Türkiye abroad grew in the first eight months of 2022.
In August this year, Türkiye exported the above products in the amount of $475.3 million to international markets, which is 13.1 percent more than in the same month of 2021.
The country totally exported cement and glass worth $5.3 billion abroad in the last 12 months (from August 2021 through August 2022), added the ministry.
