BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. The total volume of production by Anglo Asian Mining PLC company in Azerbaijan decreased from January through June 2022, Trend reports via the company's summary report.
According to the report, this figure amounted to 28,772 gold equivalent ounces, down by 10.5 percent compared to the first half of 2021 (32,171 ounces).
The total production decreased due to lower gold grades at the Gadabay contract area. At the same time, gold production in the first half of this year amounted to 20,906 ounces against 24,247 ounces recorded in the same period of last year, and silver - 99,499 ounces (versus 78,980 ounces for the first half of 2021)
In the reporting period, copper production also decreased, settling at 1,283 tons (against 1,333 tons in 1H2021).
Meanwhile, the company's revenue amounted to $31.5 million, which is 27.5 percent less than in the first half of last year ($43.5 million).
Anglo Asian Mining PLC is a gold, copper and silver producer in Central Asia with a broad portfolio of production and exploration assets in Azerbaijan. The company's portfolio includes an area of 1,962 square kilometers.
