BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. Azerbaijan's revenues from mandatory state social insurance contributions amounted to 3.7 billion manat ($2.17 billion) from January through August 2022, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan told Trend.
This figure increased by 18.4 percent, or 573.6 million manat ($336.9 million) compared to the same period in 2021.
Income from unemployment insurance premiums grew by 19.6 percent year over year and totaled 128.4 million manat ($75.4 million).
Receipts from compulsory health insurance contributions rose by 39.4 percent against the same period in 2021 and exceeded 622 million manat ($365.35).
