BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 29. A total of 117 companies with Uzbek capital were registered in Türkiye from January through November 2022, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) said, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
That is 64 companies more than in the same period of 2021.
In the reporting period, the total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 73.1 million Turkish liras ($3.9 million), while in the same period of 2021, this figure was 10.2 million Turkish liras ($544,703).
During this time, 101 Uzbek companies were listed in Istanbul with 62.7 million Turkish liras ($3.3 million) of overall capital.
Out of the total number of registered companies, 57 companies are engaged in wholesale and retail trade, while 12 companies – in exports. The remaining companies operate in other sectors of the Turkish economy.
