BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 30. The volume of card transactions by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan increased by 1.32 percent, or 25.9 million manat, which is $15.2 million (to 1.99 billion manat, or $1.17 billion) from January through November 2023, Trend reports via the country's Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
The volume of card transactions by foreign citizens amounted to 1.96 billion manat ($1.15 billion) in the same period last year.
The data of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications showed that foreign citizens in Azerbaijan made transactions worth 181.8 million manat ($106.9 million) through bank cards in November 2023, 171.5 million manat ($100.8 million) in January, 162.3 million manat ($95.4 million) in February, 218.1 million manat ($128.2 million) in March, 126 million manat ($74.1 million) in April, 173.4 million manat ($101.9 million) in May, 148.6 million manat ($87.4 million) in June, 218.8 million manat ($128.7 million) in July, 200.9 million manat ($118.1 million) in August, 186.9 million manat ($109.9 million) in September, and 203.6 million ($119.7 million) in October.
In addition, foreign citizens in the country made transactions worth 2.2 billion manat ($1.2 billion) through bank cards in 2022.
