BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 18. We are planning a project in Azerbaijan aimed at diversifying water resources as part of efforts to combat climate change, Selim Güven, Director of ACWA Power for Azerbaijan and Türkiye, told Trend.
In his exclusive statement to the agency, Güven underscored the
criticality of advancing more strategic and robust water resource
frameworks.
He observed that ACWA Power stands as a preeminent entity within
the global landscape of private sector enterprises specializing in
the intricate domain of water desalination technologies.
"We are in talks with relevant authorities in Azerbaijan on this matter. We are planning a project to diversify the country's water resources, making them more strategic and resilient against climate change.
"Additionally, we have developed specific plans related to the 'green corridor.' We are working to support the achievement of the 'green targets' in the shortest time possible," Güven said.
