( Worldcarfans ) - Audi's A4 Cabriolet range is to have a new Special Edition model in its midsts from this week, with first deliveries arriving in December. Priced from ?29,990 on the road, the 2.0 TFSI S line Special Edition A4 Cabriolet features styling enhancements and 'extra interior luxuries', becoming one of the more desireable Cabriolet models 'this side of an RS4'.
Powered by Audi's strong-performing 200 PS, 280 Nm 2.0-litre Turbo FSi petrol engine, which allows for 0- 62 mph sprints in 8.2 seconds and a top speed of 146 mph, this Special Edition model aims high in its exterior modifications and increased interior specification. Riding on a lower suspension and exclusive 18-inch 7-arm spoke design alloy wheels, the standard Special Edition already raises the stakes, but with the addition of an S line exterior styling pack at no extra cost, there are further enhancements. A polished black painted grille and a unique new front and rear bumper design are added, while Xenon lamps aid visibility and visual impact.
In the cabin, the upgrades continue. In addition to standard S line leather-upholstered sports seats, leather trimmed S line sports steering wheel, and aluminium inlays, Special Edition A4s feature an upgraded BOSE audio system and six CD changer, rear parking sensors and new aluminium foot pedals. Fully automatic soft-top operation, electric windows and electronic climate control are now included in the Special Edition's list price; extras which would normally cost some ?2,035.
