Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend A.Ismaylova / On 29 September the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, became familiarized with the construction process of the new international bus station in Baku.
The construction of the bus station is planned to be completed in 2008. It will serve 15-20.000 passengers and nearly 1000 buses per day. The key routes from the bus station will be CIS countries, as well as Iran and Turkey.
In addition, on 29 September the President of Azerbaijan participated in the opening ceremony of a new car bridge in Baku. The cost of the construction totaled AZN 22.1mln.
