Ganja  Automobile  Plant  Opens  Service  Centers and Free Courses for Farmers

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / Over the next ten days, the Ganja Automobile Plant will open the first technical service center Neftchala for vehicles produced by them, said the Director of the Ganja Automobile Plant, Khanlar Fatiyev. According to him, a technical service department, headed by Mazahir Yusifov, has been established at the enterprise.

In the near future, such centers will be opened in three more districts - Shmakha, Sheki and Ujar. Fatiyev said that by and large 14 centers will be opened.

Belarus tractors are currently assembled at the Plant. The cost of tractors vary from AZN 13,000 to AZN 35,000. The contract to assemble and sell all types of trucks and tractors of the Minsk Automobile and Minsk Tractors Plants in Azerbaijan was signed in November 2006. The assembly area measures 15,000sq m and has the capacity to assemble up to 1,000 trucks and 2,000 tractors in Azerbaijan per year.

The Factory has already sealed a contract with Agrolizing Joint Stock Company on the purchase of 382 tractors. The tractors will be delivered in 2007. Agrolizing ОАО was established on 23 October 2004 in accordance with an order issued by President Ilham Aliyev. The purpose of the enterprise's activities is for improvement of the agrarian sector and support of entrepreneurship in the country by issuing better agricultural technology to local land owners through leasing. At present, ОАО operates in fifty-five agricultural engineering service branches and ten supply bases throughout Azerbaijan.

The Head of the Ganja Automobile Plant said that initiated by the Plant, a meeting will take place at the end of October with farmers and land owners who use the equipment produced at the Plant. At the end of November, two free courses will be started by the Plant for entrepreneurs to train in the effective use of the Plant's products.
