Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Banking Training Center (ABTC) has launched a search of partners in which to establish a business leadership school in Azerbaijan, Javanashir Abdullayev, the Director of the Center, said. Currently, talks are being held with different financial organizations.
Abdullayev said that the establishment of the school will solve the problem of insufficient managers, which has resulted from the expansion of the bank's branch network in the country. In accordance with ABTC's strategy, the school can open from 2010, and by that period the Center plans to increase the number of certified programs, including those long-term programs.
The Center stated that, as it is felt that there is a shortage of specialists, from the beginning of the year another certified program 'credit specialist' will be launched. It will come as the third certified program, used by the center. The program on general banking business is most popular and the second program is on 'certified experiencing accountant' (SIP).
The ABTC is currently undergoing accreditation to receive European certificate for the application of the program on 'basic banking business'. "We have become a member of the European banking network, which is authorized in accrediting from the beginning of the year. The commencement of the program depends on the date of accreditation, enabling them to gain a European certificate recognized by Europe," Abdullayev said.
