Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Khalilova / A practice of formation of the non-budget fund of the Taxes Ministry is restored for financial promotion and development of tax bodies of Azerbaijan since 2008. In accordance with the changes to the Tax Code confirmed by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the non-budget fund will be formed on the basis of 5% of financial sanctions remitted to the public budget so that to ensure the social protection of tax employees. However, this sum should not exceed 30% of funds allocated for the maintenance of tax bodies.
In accordance with the Presidential decree on adoption of changes to the Tax Code in 2007, he was canceled. The key objective of the formation of the Fund is to improve the tax administering through developing the tax system and financial enhancing the Ministry's employees.
Earlier, by 2007 the Fund of Financial Promotion да and Development of Tax Bodies was formed on the basis of 50% of over-forecast taxes and non-tax budget remittances, which are under control. However, this amount should not be above 0.5% of the sum of tax and non-tax remittances allocated in the public budget for the next year.
