Georgian Airways Postpones Flights to   Baku

Georgia , Tbilisi, 25 February / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Georgian Airways postponed the Tbilisi-Baku route, which was scheduled to begin on 24 February.

Nino Giorgobiani, a spokesman for the company, told Trend delayed talks with Baku airport are the major reason for the postponement of the new fight.

"We held talks and intended to end them by 24 February, but failed owing to technical reasons," she said.

According to Giorgobiani, the exact date for commencement of these flights is still to be confirmed. It will depend on the completion of talks, she added.

There will be flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The cost of a ticket starts a € 75. The company will put into service the flights with CRJ aircraft. The company made the decision to implement the flights because of many passenger requests.
