Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 November / Trend corr. S.Aliyev/ The Krasnoe Sormovo plant (Nizhniy Novgorod) launched one more tanker of the new RST22 project, which was constructed for the Palmali group of companies. The vessel was named Аraz River, according to Palmali.
The vessel, meeting all requirements of the international conventions and all international environmental standards, was designed by the Odessa Marine Engineering Bureau. This type of vessels (Novaya Armada) obtained an additional sign on the symbol of Eco Project class. This sign testifies that additional requirements to prevent pollution in emergency situations were applied to the vessel at the designing stage.
The length of the vessel is 139.95m, width - 16.60m, height of the board - 6.0m, sea deadweight - about 7,008 tons with the immersion of 4.60m, river deadweight - 4,611 tons with the immersion of 3.60m.
The tanker will transport oil products via the Mediterranean, Black and Baltic Seas.
