UAE president to visit Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, Jan. 8/ Trend , E. Hasanov/
United Arab Emirates President Khalifa bin Zayed binSultan Al Nahyan's visit to Turkmenistan this year will pave the way for strengthening constructive dialogue between the two nations, the Turkmenistan-4 national TV channel quoted President Gurbanguli Berdimuhammadov as saying during his meeting with UAE Economics Minister Sultan Saed Muhammad bin Nasser al Mansuri.
The officials discussed paths to widen their partnership in the energy, construction, transport and tourism sectors. Berdimuhmmadov mentioned the role of the intergovernmental commission in keeping pace with the quickly growing relations between the countries.
Al Mansuri said UAE business circles will seek opportunities to take part in new joint projects. He added that the Avaza national tourism zone is particularly interesting for UAE investors - an international-standard sea resort to be built on the ecologically clean Caspian shore.
"UAE companies have a fair amount of experience in the tourism industry," he said. "They will be glad to share their know-how with their Turkmen partners." Al Mansuri will visit Turkmenbashi in the near future.
