Two medical facilities merge in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Central Clinic Hospital has merged with a dental center and changed ownership, the State Committee for Real Estate Management told Trend on Jan. 12. The Merkezi Klinika was established after the merger on Dec. 24.
The Azerbaijan Central Clinic Hospital was registered at the Justice Ministry in April 2001. The dental center was registered in June 1998.
The hospital was constructed in 1960 and currently has 300 beds. Repairs were conducted at the facility in 2001. The establishment meets international standards and employs over 600 people, including 105 physicians, 250 nurses and paramedical personnel.
