The Azerbaijani government will pass a law envisaging compulsory insurance for individuals suffering from occupational injuries, State Social Protection Fund head Salim Muslimov said.
"The draft was designed by the Tax Ministry and presented to us for review," Muslimov said.
The law may be passed in 2009.
The draft envisages intensifying measures to provide social security to persons with occupational injuries. The payments will be increased relative to company revenue.
