Now the customers of Parabank can take advantage of new deposit named "Children's Deposit", the bank said in a message on March 10.
This deposit is considered for children under 18. The interests placed over "Children's Deposit" are capitalized once a year and the interests for the next period are accounted in accordance with the capitalized amount.
"The paid deposit ant its interests can be taken by any person with the power of attorney commissioned by him or by himself after 18. The minimum amount of deposit is 1,000 manat or US dollars. Interests will be 14 percent in manats and 13 percent in dollars if deposit is made while a child is under 7. And the interests will be 13.5 percent in manats and 12.5 percent in dollars if deposit is made after 7 of a child," Parabank Marketing Department Manager Samir Gulahmadzade said.
"Children's Deposit" has further advantages. Thus, the deposit in the name of children will be given present by bank in his portentous event (birthday, starting the school).
On March 10, the official exchange rate is 0.8048 manat to $1.
