U.S. representative at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Curtis S.Chin held meetings with the Azerbaijani Texnikabank management in Baku, the bank said on April 22.
The sides discussed different aspects of cooperation and noted importance of loan support to small and medium entrepreneurship to cut poverty in the country.
A presentation on economy, banking sector of Azerbaijan and Texnikabank's activity was held for the ADB official.
Curtis S.Chin's visit is carried out on the eve of the ADB annual meeting which will take place in Bali (Indonesia) in early May. Besides Japan, the United States is a giant shareholder of the ADB by having 12.9 percent of right to vote.
Texnikabank was established in 1993 and currently is enters top-five of banks on key banking figures. The bank has 35 branches and 5 departments in Baku and majority of Azerbaijan's regions.
