Information policy is one of development priorities of the Taxes Ministry and that's why "our Web site is always improved to enlighten people", Deputy Taxes Ministry Sahir Mammadkhanov said at presentation of the web site.
He said changes in the Web site will enable to the ministry to expand cooperation with the country's business-organizations. Upgrading the Web site led to simplify navigation and its control panel.
A development period of the Taxes Ministry's internet-portal is divided into three stages: the first stage covers 2002-2005, second - 2005-2009. The Web site was changed and new sections were included in it in 2009.
Head of the Taxpayers Service Department Elchin Mammadov said the Web site's attendance was 1,325,900 people in 2008. This figure stood at 695,100 level in 2007 and 567,700 in 2006. He said the simplified version must be formed in future for dial up connections-users.
