Turkmen Commerce and Industry Chamber will sign a contract with the Turkish Meridyen Uluslararasi Fuarcilik San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Sti on the participation of Turkish businessmen in international exhibitions in Ashgabat in 2009-2010.
The paper was confirmed by an organization commission.
President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov's decree said that the contract is necessary in order to further develop trade and economic relations between the two states, introduction of advanced technology and experience of Turkish companies, as well as explore opportunities for mutual cooperation and conclude lucrative contracts.
A total of 500 enterprises have been registered with Turkish capital in Turkmenistan. The companies are implementing over 800 projects, including in the textile sphere. The mutual trade turnover between the two countries is $1.5 billion.
