The third meeting of the senior experts on development of private sector and privatization of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states and fourth meeting of heads of the ECO privatization agencies will be held in Baku on May 20-21, the State Property Management Committee said.
The event will be organized by the State Property Management Committee and delegations from ECO led by Secretary-General of the Organization as well as leaders and experts and the privatization bodies from nine countries, including Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are expected to attend.
The third meeting of expert group on privatization and private sector development of ECO member countries will be held on May 20. At the meeting, the delegation will hold presentations and information will be provided by the ECO secretariat to implement action plan on privatization and discussions will be held.
The fourth meeting of the heads of the ECO privatization agencies will be held on May 21. Heads of the delegations of all countries will make a report. At the same time, the ECO Secretariat will submit a report of the work to implement the action plan for privatization and the ECO website will be presented and the Baku Declaration will be adopted.
