Belarusian enterprises will take part in the 15th anniversary of the Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Food Industry" and the third Azerbaijan International Exhibition "Agriculture" to be held in Baku on May 25-27, the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan said.
The exhibition will be attended by eight of Belarusian enterprises: confectionary company "Red Pischevik" liquor-vodka plant "Akvadiv, Minsk Kristall, Belalko; producer of dairy products and baby foods" Bellakt; Rogachevsky milk-canning factory, a dairy Leeds Plant, Bobruisk plant of tractor parts and assemblies.
In addition, the leaders and specialists of Belarusian enterprises Bobruiskagromash, Boobruyskselmash, Elisovo glass plant and leasing company" Promagrolizing will visit Azerbaijan to hold cooperation negotiations.
In 2009, Belarus will exhibit food products and machine products for agriculture.
"The Belarusian companies are ready to adequately provide Azerbaijani consumer with Savushkin product, "Spartacus," "Kommunarka, Rogachevsky" condensed milk, a tractor "Belarus", new products of traditional Belarusian quality," the embassy said.
The Belarusian companies offer to the Azerbaijani consumers natural dairy and meat products and canned food, confectionery, seafood, sugar, malt liquor and vodka, as well as industrial products for the agro-industrial complex: tractors, combines and other agricultural machinery, fertilizers, glass.
The trade turnover between Belarus and Azerbaijan in 2008 amounted to $94.8 million.
